PITTSBURGH - Sidney Crosby, disheartened at being left off Canada's Olympic hockey team, refused Thursday to criticize the decision and promised to do everything he can to play his way into the 2010 Games.

The 18-year-old Crosby's disappointment at being omitted from the most talented roster in hockey might have been heightened by his belief he was one of the last players passed over for the defending Olympic gold medalists.
