There are a number of reasons to support Augusta's special local option sales tax to be voted on Nov. 8, but there are also three big reasons to be opposed: city commissioner Marion Williams and his two commission lapdogs, Betty Beard and Richard Colclough.
Do you really want these people to have a voice in how this money is spent? Mr. Williams cannot speak English correctly, but he has already conned the Richmond County Board of Education out of $238,000 for some worthless property.
