Every person who claims to be against slavery, yet calls himself a Christian, is a hypocrite.
All Christians are servants (bond-slaves) of the Lord Jesus Christ, bought and paid for with his blood and under his new ownership. Every Christian is the property of the Redeemer, and therefore is not free to return to the old master. And Christ whips us when we're bad to bring us in the right way, because he loves us as dear children.
