Uga Hopes Increase in Tuition Soothes Cuts

University of Georgia administrators are banking on a 10 percent tuition increase in January to help combat $12.8 million in budget cuts on the horizon for this fiscal year.

Such an increase would yield $4.6 million for UGA, Provost Arnett Mace on Wednesday told about 70 faculty members of the university's largest college, Arts and Sciences.
