The Augusta Chronicle's Oct. 18 editorial on the Aiken County Council suing the U.S. Department of Energy - "Suing DOE is the right move," - demonstrates the old saying that two wrongs don't make a right.
First, the county council is wrong in suing DOE over delays in the mixed oxide fuel fabrication facility. Having previously served for years as an elected official on a county council, I recognize that the Aiken County Council is wasting taxpayer's money.
