Summary
We have every right to leave Iraq, and the civilians there to fend for themselves. We cannot be our brother's keeper even though hundreds of thousands of Iraqis will be slaughtered if we leave. If we can ignore the thousands dying in Africa from disease and genocide; if we can accept millions of the unborn thrown into waste baskets; if we can turn deaf ears to the missionaries who were held in Afghanistan; then what are a few hundred thousand massacred in Iraq?
We, as a nation, would prefer "out of sight, out of mind." Besides, the Iraqis are Muslims, not Christians - though it hardly matters what faith they are because we are an equal-opportunity people when we wish to be.See the full content of this document
