A: Markings on cut glass can be hard to see. And pieces such as this one from the late 19th or very early 20th century were often left unmarked. But when they were left in such a state, the manufacturer's logo usually was applied by dipping a stamp in hydrofluoric acid and pressing it to the surface of the glass.See the full content of this document
