When about 350 rowers head to Langley Pond for the U.S. Rowing Southeastern Regional Regatta, having fun is just as important as the competition.
"Because rowing is a relatively small community, it (the regatta) is like a homecoming for these rowers," said George Fry, a member of the board of directors for the Augusta Rowing Team.
