It was a project the volunteers felt they had to stay to complete.

"At 5 p.m., we said anytime you want to go, you can. It was them who kept saying, 'Yeah, we're so close.' They'd stay 10 minutes longer; then another 10 minutes longer," said Staff Sgt. David L. Andrews, the coordinator of a group of soldiers who put together a computer lab Dec. 4 at the Floyd Head Start on Florence Street.
