Summary


AIKEN - Puppets keep discipline at Redcliffe Elementary School. Though Elmer, a football-headed blue cloth, might not rule with an iron fist, the desire to be part of the school's character puppet shows keeps third-graders on their best behavior.

The character program, in its third year, teaches pupils to care for the puppets and put on a successful show. A child who is sent to the office for misbehaving loses the privilege of participating.
