Board Punishes Principal Officials Criticize Baker's Actions

Summary


Richmond County school officials found that former C.T. Walker Traditional Magnet School Principal Paula Baker broke the chain of command in making changes at the school after sifting through a series of charges.

A letter of reprimand sent to and signed by Ms. Baker on Monday stated that she will be suspended five days, serve two years' probation and be transferred to lead another school. The Richmond County Board of Education moved her to T. Harry Garrett Elementary School in February.
