Summary
I read on the editorial page your condemnation of the Richmond County school board for breaching the public's trust by approving a leave buyback for Superintendent Charles Larke. However, I read an article in The Chronicle saying U.S. Attorney Richard Thompson was found by the Department of Justice to have violated the public trust and abused his power as U.S. Attorney.
Where is the outrage by The Augusta Chronicle? Do we have a double standard here? Mr. Thompson's initiation of investigations for political purposes is far more dangerous and egregious than a possible school board error.See the full content of this document
