Summary

LAST WEEK: Commings beefed up his interception total with his sixth and seventh interceptions in a 40-20 win against Josey. Westside scored after both turnovers. He also returned two punts coach Gerald Barnes felt "went for about 30 yards each" to set up two other scores. He even punted seven times for an average of 38 yards.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "He's an outstanding player who's got every kind of intangible. People lose focus on that. Some players will think about what they can do individually, not the team. And he could sign a Division I-A football scholarship. That's about all you need to say about how he can run and jump and what kind of athlete he is." - Westside coach Gerald Barnes
