Notice is hereby given of seizure of FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY THREE ($5,543.00) IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY AND ONE (1) 1989 CHEVROLET BLAZER, W181VG, VIN 1GNEV18KXKF164415 ON JULY 22, 2005 at 3132 WRIGHTSBORO RD., AUGUSTA, RICHMOND COUNTY, GEORGIA by members of the RICHMOND COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. Said property should be forfeited because: it was used or intended for use or available for use to facilitate a violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and/or it was found in close proximity to controlled substances or marijuana or other property subject to forfeiture under the provisions of O.C.G.A. S16-13-49.
Any owner or interest holder may file a claim within 30 days after receipt of this notice or, when notice is provided by publication, within 30 days after the second publication, whichever comes first. Claim must be submitted in the manner required by law to the seizing law enforcement agency and to Daniel J.
