Mrs. Sharon Lynn Hammond Rucker, 46, of Williams Drive, beloved wife of James F. 'Jim' Rucker, Jr., died Thursday, April 29, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Augusta, Ga. A Christian Wake service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m., at the funeral home. The family will receive friends afterwards until 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Savannah River Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 3694, Aiken, S.C. 29802.
