Mrs. Lois Mae Greene, beloved wife of the late Alvin R. "Al, Pop" Greene, entered into rest on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Keysville Nursing Home. A native of California, she had resided in the Augusta area since 1944. Mrs. Greene had worked as a Reading Tutor at various Richmond County Schools and at Reading Success, Inc. From 1972 - 1979, along with her husband; she operated and managed Anderson's Swimming Pool. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived by 4 sons, Richard Greene and his wife, Margaret, Appling, GA, Lannie Greene and his wife Yvonne, Conyers, GA Phillip Greene and his wife Debbie, Trenton, SC, Brian Greene and his wife Betty, Keysville, GA; 3 daughters, Sharon Miles and her husband, Jerry, Hephzibah, GA, Dianna Greene-Barnes and her husband Roger, Hephzibah, GA, Leanne Row and her husband Robert, Keysville, GA; 18 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
