Mrs. Lannie Womack Spence, 93, of Birch Road, Midville, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Emanuel County Nursing Home after a short illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004 in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Smith officiating.

Mrs. Spence was a seamstress with the clothing factory, working most of the time with the Thompson Company in Millen. She was a member of the garden club in Pooler and a member of the Union Grove United Methodist Church in Midville.
