Mrs. Annie Sue Sims

Summary


Mrs. Annie Sue Sims was born June 12, 1898 to Doc Franklin and Josephine Maxey. At an early age she joined Springhill Baptist Church, was a devoted member of St. John Baptist in Danburg and was married to the late Charlie Sims. She religiously read and quoted her Bible and loved her hymns. She loved cooking, sewing and flowers. At 106, she credited her longevity to trusting and believing in the Word of God.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Frances Danner, Orlando, Sarah Cofer, Augusta, Anges (Clifford) James, Orlando and a son, Earl (Elizabeth) Sims, Danburg. Sons, James Sims and Johnny Sims preceded her in death. Also surviving are a sister, Matilda Hull (age 99); 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 34 great- great-grandchildren and a host of family, relatives and friends.
