Mr. John (J.R.) Arthur Pritt, Jr., 34, of Milledgeville Road, Augusta, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 29, 2004. He was a very loving husband and father and loved family gatherings and cared deeply for his family and friends. He was a fundamental Baptist and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was a very happy, full of life person.
Mr. Pritt is survived by his wife, Melissa S. Pritt; one son, Bryson Pritt; and was eagerly anticipating the birth of his second child. He is also survived by his parents, John and Rosemarie Pritt of Hephzibah; two sisters, Joanni Brooks, Gloverville, S.C. and Jenni (Troy) Alderman of Augusta (He was their "hero" brother.); and his grandparents, Herb and Nan Gardner of Charleston, W.
