John Herman Sealey, 91, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta, GA. John, born July 18, 1915, was one of two children of John and Wilhelmina Sealey.
Retiring from the United States Navy as an Ensign in 1964 after thirty years of service to his country, he was a survivor of Pearl Harbor, the Normandy invasion, and many other Pacific operations. He also retired from International Paper. A member of the VFW and the Volunteer Fire Department, John was active in many civic organizations as Folly Beach developed.See the full content of this document
