Mr. Rice was the beloved husband of Mrs. Ann R. Rice for 50 years. He was the son of the late Mr. Fred W. Rice and Mrs. Clara Elgin Rice. Mr. Rice had served in the marines for 20 years, during that time he served in the Korea war. Mr. Rice was a Baptist and had retired from Dupont and Westinghouse after 42 years.
