Summary
Play of the Game: Scoreless midway through the first quarter, Midland Valley's Brandon Mabry showed off his athleticism. Keenan quarterback Demon Griffin completed a pass to Craig Foulks, who appeared destined for the end zone. But Mabry chased Foulks to the 1- yard line, where he forced the fumble that would provide all the momentum the Mustangs would need.
Why Midland Valley Won: The Mustangs showed balance on both sides of the ball. The offense put up 357 yards of offense (194 on the ground, 163 in the air), including a perfect passing night for Brett Godwin. Jesse Scott added 165 yards in total and scored three touchdowns. The defense preserved the shutout with a goal-line stand late in the fourth quarter.See the full content of this document
