Memory Walk Was a Great Success

Summary


The outstanding community support for this year's Memory Walk 2006 - the Alzheimer's Association's main fund-raiser held Nov. 4 at Lake Olmstead - not only set a record with nearly 600 people attending on a cold Saturday morning, but also set a record for money raised during the event.

More importantly, it brought greater awareness of the nearly 12,000 people in the CSRA who are in some way affected by the disease.
