Mrs. Stanford was a native of Augusta, a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta, she retired as office manager of C.K. Fields Marine Service and for 18 years was a supervisor with Gurosik Strawberry Farms. She also was a member of the AMBUCS Auxiliary and was well known for her baking of cakes and cookies during the holidays, production of homemade jellies and jams and her work at Gurosik's Strawberry Farm.
