Buzz over the possible construction of a theme hotel at the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame isn't likely to amount to much, at least not in the near future.

Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver's recent comments about a development group's interest in the 4.25 acres of riverfront property are exciting but not what the organization's board of directors is prepared to pursue right now, said Dianne King, executive director of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.
