COLUMBIA - Columbia area investigators say six recent killings involving victims younger than 30 were all gang-related. And, investigators say, five of those killings were connected to each other.

Fifteen-year-old Brian Wright was killed in February when rival gang members opened fire on a group of about 35 people outside a Waffle House restaurant. Doniesha Smallwood, 18, was a witness to that shooting who police said was aiding investigators. She was killed Aug. 5.
