I am writing this letter in support of Jeff Padgett, running for re-election for the Richmond County Board of Education. I have known and worked with Mr. Padgett for the past 27 years. During that time, he has worked as a volunteer with the Richmond Community Federal Credit Union, and served as vice-chairman of the board of directors for more than 20 years.
Through his vision and leadership, the Richmond Community Federal Credit Union has grown in assets from $3 million to more than $20 million. He has chosen to run for public office so he can make a difference. Mr. Padgett is a very honest, loyal, dedicated public servant.
