Britain's response to Iran's outrageous seizure of 15 sailors and marines has been depressingly tepid - 10 Downing Street on Thursday asked the Security Council to "deplore" the incident - but, as a practical matter, sputtering is probably about all Britain can do for the short-term moment, there being not much in the way of bristling royal gunboats on hand these days to back up sterner stuff.See the full content of this document
