For one John S. Davidson Fine Arts School freshman, it took a trip to Kenya to learn what you can live without and still be happy.

"We saw people living in cow dung-and-mud houses," said Kristen Bryant, one of six 12- to 14-year-olds chosen to travel to Nairobi to film the Nickelodeon TV show, Nick News Adventure: Safari So Good. "The things we take for granted - taking a shower and drinking the water - the Masai don't have running water, electricity, but they're happy."
