FOLKSTON, Ga. - For the first time in 12 years, Charlton County is preparing to get back into the jail business.

County officials have reached an agreement with Texas-based Cornell Corrections to build a facility to hold as many as 50 inmates. The new jail, currently under construction at a site adjacent to D.
