It wasn't something she decided to do for glory or to further her career, but Col. Lori Sussman rode her bicycle in a 100-mile event with hopes that future generations might never have to feel the pain of cancer or watch their loved ones suffer.
"I started doing it for cancer research. I've learned more and more that cancer touches so many," said Col.
