Dr. Guillebeau was born on March 13, 1929, to James William and Elanor Jones Guillebeau in Thomson, Ga. He received his education and training from Thomson High School, the University of Georgia, the Medical College of Georgia and the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of WW II and the Vietnam Conflict and retired after 23 years of service, having served as pathologist and orthopedic surgeon until March 1976.
