Clemson Hires Spence to Head Team's Offense

Summary


Rob Spence, the Toledo offensive coordinator who helped the team to 35 wins the past four years, was named Clemson's offensive coordinator, Tigers coach Tommy Bowden said Thursday.

Spence replaces Mike O'Cain, the former Clemson quarterback and North Carolina State coach fired by Bowden in December after the Tigers' offense struggled through much of their 6-5 season.
