Nov. 8 is Election Day. On the ballot will be a special purpose local options sales tax proposal - again.
When they started talking about it, City Administrator Fred Russell had proposed a very sensible, meat-and-potatoes list of necessary projects. I would have voted for it because it showed tremendous fiscal restraint.
