Enterprise Mill, built in 1881 along the banks of the Augusta Canal, operated around the clock for more than a century before it closed its doors for the last time in 1983.

Today, a portion of the mammoth building houses one of the nation's newest and most significant public museums dedicated to hydropower and America's textile heritage.
