Cast Comes Out of 'Woods' with Learning Experience

Summary

Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack (and the Beanstalk), Little Red Riding Hood, and an evil witch were all brought together by a baker and his wife who were trying to have a child in the Stephen Sondheim musical Into The Woods. It was Briarwood Academy's entry in a statewide one- act-play competition.

The premise of the play is that a baker has a spell cast on him, and he cannot have a child until he collects a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, a slipper as pure as gold and hair as yellow as corn. He and his wife go "into the woods" to collect the items.
