Mrs. Brenda McCaslin, 61, beloved wife of Mr. Albert Edward McCaslin, was escorted into Heaven, Wednesday, March 31, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. McCaslin was a native of Augusta, Ga. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde and Pam McCaslin and Rickie and Ruby McCaslin of Evans, Ga.; one daughter and son-in-law, Samantha (Sam) and Adam Cason of Martinez, Ga.; six grandchildren, Lauren and David McCaslin, Tabatha and Christina McCaslin, and Taylor and Jackson Cason. Brenda is also survived by a sister, Faye McNair and a brother, Paris (Bubba) Wilson, both of Augusta, Ga.

Mrs. McCaslin was employed by the Georgia Theater Company for 32 years and later retired from First Union Bank. Brenda was a vibrant member of Grace Baptist Church of Evans, Ga., where she had been honored formerly as Woman of the Year. She was active in the church's Benevolent ministries and PrimeTimers ministry. She is a former member of Fleming Baptist Church and a resident of Woodbine West, Martinez.
