Twelve members of the Augusta BMX club jumped at the chance to compete for trophies at the National Bicycle League 2004 Grands in Louisville, Ky., held Labor Day weekend. Two members succeeded.

Pete Wolfinger placed second in the 55-and-older category, and 14-year-old Derek Baldwin was second in the rookie category.
