Summary
The hundreds of homosexual rights activists who swarmed the state capitol in Atlanta last week to protest a proposed constitutional amendment prohibiting same-sex marriages provide a good reason why the prohibition is needed.
Small bands of well-organized groups that paint themselves as "victims" often get sympathetic treatment from the courts despite strong opposition from the general public.
