In its annual report on human rights, Amnesty International describes the U.S-run Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba as "the gulag of our times" - so bad that U.S. leaders such as Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld deserve to face prosecution in international courts for the prisoners' treatment.

"The apparent high-level architects of torture should think twice before planning their next vacation to places like Acapulco or the French Riviera because they may find themselves under arrest," warns Amnesty's U.S. director, William Schultz.
