SONOMA, Calif. - Aric Almirola wasn't at The Milwaukee Mile Saturday night when he won the AT&T 250.

Almirola won the pole and started the race, but teammate Denny Hamlin drove the second half of the race after flying 1,828 miles from Infineon Raceway. And in the process, it triggered controversy at both racetracks.
