Richmond County School Superintendent Charles Larke's Academic Reform Plan did not derive from assistant superintendents Virginia Bradshaw and Patricia Burau, as the writer suggested. His plan to improve academic rigor and provide educational opportunities for all students was developed based on Dr. Larke's own research and experience as a former algebra and accounting teacher at Westside High School. He also served as coordinator for vocational special- needs students at Westside, and recognizes the benefits of all students following a dual academic track at the high-school level.See the full content of this document
