Mr. Elmer Grayson, Sr.

Mr. Elmer Charles Grayson Sr., 65, entered into rest on Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Mr. Grayson was a native of Kansas City, Mo., but called Augusta home. He served in the United States Army for 24 years and was employed as a jailer for the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose presence will truly be missed.

Mr. William 'Bill' Crawford

Crawford, William "Bill" Eugene, 58, of Augusta, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009. Bill served in the U. S. Army in Seoul, Korea. He retired from Bellsouth after 28 years as a service technician working in both Atlanta and Augusta. He was a member of the American Legion Post 205, Communication Workers of America and Telecom Pioneers. He thoroughly enjoyed singing Karaoke, trips to Tybee Island, fishing, gardening and cooking.
