John Wayne Cooper, age 61, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Putnam General Hospital in Eatonton, Ga. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Greensboro. A reception will follow in the church activities center. Mr. Forrest Turner, Sr. died July 29, 2007 at the V.A. Medical Center in Augusta. He was a native of Columbia County and the son of the late Henry Lee Turner and Lizzie Mae Guin Turner and the widower of the late Margaret Lucille Morgan Turner.
