Philippa Denny, 84, resident of Louisville, died Sunday morning at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville. Ms. Denny was a native and lifelong resident of Jefferson County. She was retired from Jefferson Electric Membership Corp. Ms. Denny was a member of the Jefferson County Historical Society, the John F. Wren Chapter National Society Daughters of American Revolution, and Dames of Magna Carta. She was a member of the Louisville United Methodist Church.

She was a daughter of the late Mary Drew and Enoch Cleveland Mayers, Sr. She was a member of Harmony Hope Chapter #229 Order of The Eastern Star and Calvary Baptist Church.
