Mrs. Irmtraud Warren, age 73 passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Windemere Nursing Home. Born in Wintersheim Germany, Mrs. Warren had made Augusta, GA her home since 1974. Mr. Marvin "MJ" Burke, Jr., age 67, of Oxford, Ga., died Monday, July 31, 2006. He was born in Jenkins, Ga. (Millen) on August 19, 1938 to the late of Marvin Burke, Sr. and Florrie Wilson Burke. Mr. Burke was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Covington, Ga., where he taught Sunday school and occasionally led the music. He was a member of the Oxford Lions Club for 24 years and a member of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association's Disaster Relief Feeding Unit since 1995.
