Mrs. Brissey was born October 30, 1911, in Commerce, GA, to the late Homer and Almedia Tuggle Howington. She retired from Huggins Garment Plant with thirty-two years of service. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church.

Mr. Barker was born in Bath, SC, to the late John Washington and Annie Lee Marchant Barker. He was a member of Langley Church of God. He retired from E.I. DuPont with sixteen years of service as a mechanic. He was the retired owner and operator of Barker's Carpet. He served in WWII in the US Army.
