Mrs. Lois Wynn Allmond died March 5, 2006 in Vidalia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the South Thompson Baptist Church. Burial will be in South Thompson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Entered into rest Saturday, March 4, 2006, Mrs. Essie Mae Watson, 93, wife of the late Walter Glenn Watson. Funeral services will at 11 A.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Bethesda Baptist Church with the Revs. Craig White and Jerry Price officiating. Interment will be in the South Harlem Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Ruth Walton Cullars, 83, widow of the late Robert Cullars, entered into rest on Friday, March 3, 2006, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Willie Brissey

Entered into rest Saturday, March 4, 2006, Mrs. Willie Howington Brissey, beloved wife of the late Mr. William Ernest Brissey. Mrs. Brissey was born October 30, 1911, in Commerce, GA, to the late Homer and Almedia Tuggle Howington. She retired from Huggins Garment Plant with thirty-two years of service. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church.

Mr. Joseph T. Crenshaw

Joseph T. Crenshaw, beloved husband of Ina Moseley Crenshaw, entered into rest Sunday, March 5, 2006 at University Hospital. Mr. Crenshaw was self-employed as an Electrical Plumbing Contractor before his retirement. He was a member of Lincolnton Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII between 1944 and 1946.

Mr. Samuel Hale Sibley beloved husband of Martha Poer Sibley entered into rest on March 5, 2006 . He is the son of Patricia Wilson Sibley and the late William Hart Sibley. A graveside memorial service will be held today, March 7, 2006 at 11:00AM at Magnolia Cemetery with The Rev. Boyd Lien and The Very Rev. Robert Fain officiating. The A.G.A. will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Entered into rest Saturday, March 4, 2006, Mr. Horace Lester Barker, Sr., 83,beloved husband of 64 years to Mrs. Lucille Smith Barker, of Williamson Dr., Clearwater, SC. Mr. Barker was born in Bath, SC, to the late John Washington and Annie Lee Marchant Barker. He was a member of Langley Church of God. He retired from E.I. DuPont with sixteen years of service as a mechanic. He was the retired owner and operator of Barker's Carpet. He served in WWII in the US Army.

Mr. David Nelson entered into rest March 4, 2006 at his residence. He was a native of Ill. Lived in Augusta the past 25 years. He was Retired SFC U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam and he was a Presbyterian.
