Edward Hosea Blount, 89, of Thomson, Georgia died Sunday February 26, 2006. He was the son of Edward H. and Nina T. Blount. He was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and the University of Georgia. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Savannah, past president of the Georgia Unit of Wally Bryan Caravan Club and traveled extensively with that group and was a Mason.

Mr. Lloyd Smith Givens, Jr. Restaurant Manager
Mr. Lloyd Smith Givens, Jr., 91, of Clearwater, entered into rest Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Mr. Givens, son of the late Rosa and Lloyd Givens, Sr. was born in Augusta, Ga., but had made his home in St. Petersburg, Fla. for the past 34 years. Before that, he was a restaurant manager in Washington, D.C. He moved to Clearwater approximately one year ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Lutheran.
