Sam T. Davis, III, 54, died unexpectedly Monday, June 27, 2005 in Munich, Germany. He was doing what he loved the best, travelling in Europe and holding his wife's hand. Sam was born January 6, 1951 in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved with his parents, Sam and Alice Davis, to Augusta in 1953.

Entered into rest Monday, June 27, 2005 at Augusta Hills Nursing Home, Mr. Alfred Melvin (Beanie) Garnett. A native of Augusta, he was son of the late Mable Garnett of Appling. He worked at Mulherin Lumber Company for 13 years.

Tony E. Lowe, age 43, of Martinez, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, June 29, 2005 at University Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Paul Keith Sweeney, Sr., husband of Mrs. Helen E. Sweeney, will be on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel.
