Mrs. Irene Browder

The funeral service for Mrs. Irene Lyon Browder, age 81, of Warrenville, will be conducted today, Friday, June 25, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Gene Brown, Rev. John Phillips and Rev. William F. Brock officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley. Mrs. Browder will be place in the church one hour prior to the service. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, SC 29829.

Mr. Clifford Washington

Entered into rest Thursday, June 24, 2004, at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson, Ga., Mr. Clifford E. Washington, 93, husband of Mrs. Virginia Newman Washington, of Fisher Road, Dearing. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2004, in the Adams Chapel Cemetery, Dearing, Ga., with the Rev. Mike Timmerman officiating.

Mr. Larry Campbell Painter

Memorial services for Mr. Larry Tommy Campbell, husband of Mrs. Melissa Campbell, will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Warrenville Church of God. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, seven brothers and sisters and four grandchildren.

Mr. Ware Smith, Jr.

Mr. Ware Harding Smith, Jr., 55, of Cox Avenue entered into rest June 23, 2004, at the Veteran Administration Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Miss Delaney Mulholland

Miss Delaney Marie Joseph Mulholland, the infant daughter of Pete and Theresa Mulholland, entered into rest Thursday, June 17, 2004. Graveside services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Pineview Memorial Gardens with Father Cherian Thalakulam officiating.

Mrs. Loretta Moses Homemaker

Mrs. Loretta H. Moses, 83, formerly of Mississippi Ave., entered into rest June 22, 2004. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2004 at Mt. Hill Fellowship Community Church with Rev. Joseph S. Harrison, Jr. officiating. The remains will lie in state in the church from 12 noon until the hour of service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Carl Lee Chalker Retired Carpenter

Entered into rest at Salem Nursing Center on June 22, 2004, Mr. Carl Lee Chalker of Evans. Mr. Chalker lived in this area most of his life. He was a retired Carpenter and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Mrs. Ladelle Yonce

LaDelle Johnson Yonce, 58, of 48 Woodwind Dr., died Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. A native of Trenton, S.C., she was the wife of Rubie H. Yonce and the daughter of Miriam J. Johnson of Conway and the late Robert Edgar Johnson. She was a retired Librarian with Byrnes High School and a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Mamie Frazier Retired Nutritionist

Mrs. Mamie Hardwick Frazier of New York City entered into rest Sunday, June 13, 2004, at the St. Luke Hospital, New York City. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2004, at 11 a.m., at Williams Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Mark Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Roberson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Midville.

Mrs. Madella Golphin Retired Homemaker

Entered into rest on Monday, June 21st at Jenkins County Hospital. She was 77 years old. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, June 26 at St. John Baptist Church in Burke County with Rev. Bobby Williams, Jr. officiating.

Mr. Basil Anthony Gavalas Retired Businessman

Mr. Basil Anthony Gavalas, 94, husband of Mrs. Catherine C. Gavalas, entered into rest on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street Chapel, on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. Ronald Weil ; Retired Mechanical Engineer

Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Ronald L. "Ron" Weil will be celebrated Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 1 p.m., at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, S.C. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 26, 2004 from 10:30 a.m., until 12:30 p.m., at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, S.C. Mr. Weil, 63, of Aiken, S.C., died Tuesday, evening, June 22, 2004 at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Chambers Painter, 85, of Penn St., died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Edgefield Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Edgefield First Baptist Church with burial in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
